BnB Tobacco Sponsors 25th Anniversary Fight Night

Cigar Articles

Where else can you get dressed up in tuxedos, then spend a night eating, drinking, smoking cigars and watching professional fighters pummel each other—then wake up the next morning and feel positive about what you did? Answer: Fight Night!

Once a year Fight for Children (fightforchildren.org) organizes one of Washington DC’s greatest nights – Fight Night. BnB Tobacco was right there with Fight for Children providing cigars at all the tables. With over a thousand attendees, BnB and La Palina cigars (lapalinacigars.com) – the event’s featured cigars – had to dig deep into their humidors.

This 25th anniversary event, November 13, 2014, raised the most money ever for D.C. and Baltimore children – $4.7 million. The night had everything: Redskin and Raven Cheerleaders, beautiful hostesses at all the tables, acrobats, fire-breathers, Maseratis, celebrities, and best of all – three great sanctioned boxing matches to include the World Boxing Commission Super-Flyweight Championship. Carlos Cuadras from Mexico dominated Sonny Boy Jarro of the Philippines for the title. It was a night of non-stop action complemented by excellent cigars.

If you haven’t tried a La Palina cigar, don’t wait for the next Fight Night, get one now. It does not disappoint. La Palina started in the 1800s when Samuel Paley, a Ukraine immigrant, created the first La Palina. When Sam retired in 1926, his La Palina retired with him. Sam’s grandson, Bill Paley brought back the cigar. This was a labor of love, not a quick profit. La Palina cigars deliver craftsmanship traditionally rolled with unwavering quality and care. They’re just damn enjoyable, offering elegance and an unforgettable experience. We look forward to next year!
