I bought from BNB before (windsail) and thought I would try the Kentucky Organic Gold as so many reviews stated it was very good. My enthusiasm when it arrived was quickly gone when I opened the bag. Perhaps I just got an old one as it was completely dried out and rather than a pipe tobacco cut, it was so dry it was like sand. Very disappointed in this product.

Tobacco arrives fairly dry (because it's organic it needs to be so it doesn't mold/mildew). Great aroma: nutty, rich, deep, and yet light and mellow. I add humidity buttons and "refill" them one bag ahead of the one I am currently smoking so by the time I get to it it is ready to go.

I love the lack of "junk" (pesticides, mainly) -- a great clean smoke.

I bought this because it was organic. I liked the idea of less additives. This was quite the disappointment. It's so harsh it burns the back of your throat.

I bought my first 6oz. bag and thought the bag must have a small leak that allowed any moisture to have leaked out but I bought another and it was the same way. If you're looking for a Tobacco that can completely dehydrate a whole apple in 3 days than this product is for you.

If you roll your own, why not smoke the best quality. Each 6 oz. bag easily produces a carton of kick gluteous maximus smokes without pesticide and carpert glue.

I know it might seem silly to buy organic pipe tobacco when smoking is technically bad for you, but it is something that is important to me. I was stoked to try out the Kentucky Select Organic Gold 6oz when I saw it online. Like all organic items, it is more expensive than the non-organic bag. However, you can tell a real difference in the flavor. It seems like such higher quality stuff. For as good as it is, I think the price is actually a steal. I just wish that the bag was bigger so I could get more of it at once.
