For the most part the Dean Milds are a very good little cigar and I usually have no issues. Even at their worst, they are at least better than the ones I can buy locally with "sand" in the filter. My issue is with quality control. I have received 2 cartons in the past week and I have found 4 cigarettes out of one carton that the filter fell off either when the cigar was being removed from the pack or when you put it in your mouth to light it. I have had a few that were "exploded" at the end. The end looked like it got sliced and the tobacco was protruding.
All in all, they are a good smoking cigar. Just be mindful of quality control.
