I discovered SailPipe tobacco in 1968 and found it a very enjoyable everyday pipe tobacco. For many years now I have been unable to find it in my local retail markets. I discovered it available on BnB and ordered. It is still the great blend and delightful cavendish that it always was. To anyone who is a serious pipe smoker, I heartily recommend it. This is a ten star, very high quality aromatic tobacco. I have smoked it for many years. Neimeyer, the maker, knows more about selecting, aging and blending and cutting tobacco than any other tobacco company in my opinion.. When properly lighted and gently smoked in a broken in pipe it is just delicious. I often get compliments from others, including non-smokers, over its light aromatic rich tobacco aroma. Finally, it is cut in small narrow ribbons rather than flakes and I believe that makes it burn more evenly and slowly.
