Comments about Humidors Salvador Lacquer Humidor (250ct):

The finish on this humidor is beautiful. However, after opening the lid I smelled nothing resembling cedar, only industrial glue. There is no way I would place a single cigar inside that box.

        Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt, even though the item was out of stock when I paid for it. BnB worked quickly to track one down for me and shipped it quickly.
Customer service is responsive and friendly, and offered amicable compensation for my return. I would definitely do business with this company again. They made things right.

Comments about Humidors Salvador Lacquer Humidor (250ct):

This humidor looks great. However, you cannot judge this book solely by it's cover. Once opened, a strong glue odor was immediately noticeable. I let the humidor air out for more than 3 days. Still contained the smell. Used baking soda. Nope. Nothing. The cedar lining is too thin to sand in order to help get rid of the stench of chemicals.

I will be returning this humidor immediately. Too bad. I had high hopes for this one.

Don't waste your time, nor money, on this humidor.

        • Maintains Humidity

        Cons

        • Lock Installed Improperly

Comments about Humidors Salvador Lacquer Humidor (250ct):

Would have gave 5 stars but lock was not installed properly and doesn't lock. I don't use the lock or I would have sent it back. The rest of the humidor functions very nice and maintains perfect humidity.

            Hello,
I am going to purchase the Salvador Lacquer Humidor and was wondering what the two polished silver humidifiers are filled with? Humidor Gel Beads or the basic stuffed sponge-like material? IF not filled with beads, is it capable to remove the basic material and put beads in them? I like the look of them and would like to keep them as part of the display but really like using gel beads to maintain humidity.
