Product Information
Oliva Cain 550 Maduro cigars are handmade in Nicaragua using a 'straight ligero' blend of triple-fermented longfillers, plus a pinch of Seco and Viso for combustibility. Two wrapper choices are offered: the Habano has a nutty base accented by mocha and pepper, while the Maduro's cocoa-inflected sweetness benefits from notes of leather and spice.

The greatest combination of strength and flavor

These are overall my favorite cigars with the perfect combination of Nicaraguan ligero and maduro flavors, I keep 30 or more types of cigars on hand at all times and I have already smoked several boxes of these. BnBs price is also the best. I only wish BnB carried the torpedo shape as that is my favorite because it concentrates the flavor the best.

Cain Maduro is the best overall cigar in

Cain Maduro is much better than the Habano and the torpedo is the best shape as it concentrates the flavour better but the robusto is also great at a better price. My favorites are all from Nicaragua and include Diesel Unholy Cocktail and La Herencia Oscuro Fuerte but the Cain is the best overall. It has a real full rich dark tobacco taste and aroma from the start to the very end.

According to the Oliva family, before choosing to smoke cigars, a number of factors are to be considered: variety, storage, aging, cutting and lighting. Only then, may you begin to enjoy one. As with other esoteric hobbies and pleasures, smoking cigars has an array of accouterments such as humidors and cutters that you’ll need to keep the cigars fresh and in smoking condition.

By educating yourself on the variety of cigars, you may end up choosing Oliva’s high quality cigars such as Serie V Melanio, Connecticut Reserve, Serie V Melanio Maduro, or Serie G Maduro. The company’s four or five cigar samplers are a great way to determine which of their products you prefer – one with the flavor of South American coffee? Or the one offering bittersweet chocolate to your palate? Maybe the one that hints of cinnamon is for you. An Oliva cigar guarantees the connoisseur will have a full and often complex smoking experience.
