Replacement unit

"I had an earlier model of the Powermatic III. Used it for about 4 years, made over 80,000 cigs. It worked well, but eventually, the sensors started to fail (or they became misaligned). When I get the chance, I'll rip it apart, try to repair it as a spare. The new unit has a better feed mechanism, is quieter, but the hopper is slightly smaller (not really an issue). I like it. If I get 80,000 cigs from it, I'll be quite happy."

Powermatic injectior

"This machine is great, I’ve been making my own cigs. For a very long time. And this machine allows me to make a carton in no time 👍👍👍 I would recommend this for anyone that makes their own 👍"

Constant hopper issue

"This is the second Powermatic I have bought. The first one worked awesome for several years, this one is a constant fight with the "hopper" sign and not working until I eject the tobacco. I have used the same tobacco and tubes for years so the only change is the new design of the Powermatic. I would not recommend this unit."

Excellent performance

"Thank you so much! I absolutely love it!"

Powermatic 3

"This is my second Powermatic 3 and I find it is to sensitive to the tobacco cut and moisture %. The machine goes to hopper mode every 2 or 3 cigarettes are made and the tobacco content is not at all consistent regardless of the mode selected."

Bad machine

"This is my third powermatic3 machine. This one is a peace of junk. Sent it back 3 times so far and it comes back the same or worse. They keep telling me it's my tabacoo. I guess if you don't use red river tabacoo this machine doesn't work."

Update

"I should have waited a little bit befire I posted that last review. I've been trying all different kinds of tobacco and yes it did work well on the 1st kind I used in it but the 2nd kind made them to where the head would either start to burn sideways or just fall off (burning a hole in my pants) and now the 3rd kind I am trying I just get jam after jam. I'm glad I still have my Powermatic II because it worked just fine. All 3 that I have tried are a shag cut but a little different. I'm still in the process of trying different brands of tobacco, so I'll try it in the III first but keep my II handy. The III is nice when it works."

Wow

"I've been using the Powermatic II and thought that worked good... This model makes that one like a manual. I used this for the 1st time this morning. Found out real quick that the little rubber thing on the place where you put the tube on was not just shipping protection. I took it off and at 1st I thought since it was the 1st cigarette made, it didn't fill right and pushed the tube off half way through. I put another tube on and the same thing happened so I put the rubber thing back on. About a minute later I had 33 perfectly made dense cigarettes. No jams or gaps. I'm currently using a shag cut tobacco, so don't believe reviews elsewhere saying it only works with a more ribbon cut. Hopefully it lasts at least as long as my Powermatic II."

Q&A

Is this the original powermatic 3 and not the 3 plus?
Hi Vincent, We sell the 3 Plus.
Is there any way to get a new rubber thing that goes on the injector tip? I've had Powermatic for 2 years, made over 30,000 cigarettes. It's great!
Hi Gina, Unfortunately we do not sell Powermatic replacement parts, only the entire machine. But we are so glad to hear that it has provided you with great use for 2 years.
