7 oh, hoe, oh boy! Santa would love this!7

"Curiosity got the best of me and I had to sample this delightful mixture before the holidays. I'm glad I did! This blend is mellow yet full-bodied. It is easy on the pallet and produces a delightful holiday aroma.. I wish it was available all year long! It makes for a great smoke by the fireside (or on a worldwide sleigh ride. Incidentally, while Santa arrives in the United States on December 25, in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the lake he is replaced by theWeinachten Engle (Christmas angel) who is a beautiful lady, dressed in gold and wearing a golden crown. She represents an angel who was on guard at the time of the nativity. Throughout the month of December, children can visit the Christmas angel at the Christmas markets that are in most of the European cities and villages. Santa visits European children on Saint Nicholas Day at the beginning of December and leaves small gifts and sweets, generally filling a stocking hound on the bed post. Personally, I'm hoping someone will gift me with a tin or two of this wonderful bland honor before the holidays! Hoe, hoe, hoe. I'm also looking forward to sampling three kings when it becomes available. – Jack."

Great tobacco

"The flavors in this tobacco go so well together. I love how the ginger compliments the orange flavor."

A Ginger Blend

"Jolly Old St Nicholas is a hard review to do. First it's an aromatic and I tend not to like aromatics but I was won over by this as it didn't taste like syrup on top of cheap Burley. Instead, what I got was a taste of my childhood favorite ginger bread and warm cookies from Mom's oven. The flavor is like nothing else I have ever smoked. My one criticism is the blend is a bit light - a bit more of Red Virginia or Latakia would add a bit more weight for more mature smokers. As an aromatic this is five stars - this has not been done before and a must smoke. Since I bought many tins of this I am experimenting with some strange combos like mixing this with 1792 flake and other hard and heavy hitters. For a new pipe smoker, Jolly Old St Nicholas will be welcome - especially as a stocking stuffer. As a note, don't expect to taste the Perique here. The flavor is GInger and more Ginger. Perhaps one reason this blend works so well is the flavoring is on top of Virginia and not a harsh Burley - and among aromatics that is a rare thing. I think this blend should age well but the results might be hard to guess. Looking forward to letting a tin age a few years and coming back to this. This blend smokes best with a cup of warm tea."
