Gawith, Hoggarth & Co's Ennerdale Flake is a classic Lakeland mixture, featuring a foundation of Virginias from Brazil, Zimbabwe, and Malawi with the addition of sun-cured Malawi and Malawi Burley leaf. Further elevating the blend's natural tobacco flavors is a distinctive casing of almond, fruit, and vanilla.

"In the tin it smells like fruitcake. Very mild with a consistent sweet taste to the end, but not overly sweet . Has a very pleasant room note ."
"Ennerdale flake works best in a small bowl. Large bowls seem to burn inefficiently and allow the flavors to cook out long before the flake is burned up. The flavors are not overly strong and its best if you draw lightly, sipping the smoke so to speak. You can pick out the base flavors by sipping, and the citrus trace is rather unique, reminds me of earl grey faintly, and may ghost your bowl but not heavily. This is a decent flake, should last a while, burns slow, tastes good."
