"The extra smooth version of Hot Rod Tubes was causing me to cough constantly. I used the smooth dark blue version before and that actually reduced the cough. I live in Alexandria, LA and finding the Hot Rod brand is difficult. However, if I could get info on local shops that stock or if I can be an affiliate I would love to hear back. This brand is helping me reduce the cough. I have tried other brands and they are inferior to Hot Rod. I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Petra"

Works ok

"Thicker than the silver gamblers that I typically use. When I use my hawk matic they leave a large unpacked head that the gamblers do not. Once you brush off the unpacked part they tap down well and provide a real nice smoke. Might work better in other machines."

Gambler Tubes Are Better

"I didn't like these tubes. Something about them. I can only think that they are ever so slightly smaller diameter and didn't fit the injector cleanly like Gambler tubes. Also, I found or guess the paper is not as smooth as when the PMII machine injects the tobacco it didn't run as smoothly as with Gambler tubes. Most of the time a wad of tobacco was left hanging out. With Gambler I get smooth operation every time. I say all this as I tried Hot Rod and Gambler tubes with the same exact tobacco blend and at the same time and received different results. Gambler was superior IMO."
