Not as aromatic as it used to be.

"It’s been some years since I smoked SAIL. It was not as aromatic this time around as I recall it was, but I will keep trying it. Of course it could just be me (?)..."

Q&A

Is the cell type tobacco aromatic the same as Captain Black Gold?
Hi CJ, Both Sail Aromatic and Captain Black Gold tobaccos are aromatic cavendish. Captain black gold is a matured golden cavendish, and the Sail aromatic contains a blend of burley, cavendish, turkish, virginia, and latakia tobaccos. The cut of the sail is a coarse cut where as the captain black gold is a ribbon cut, so this is something to keep in mind as you're comparing. Taste wise, if you enjoy one I believe you would enjoy the other.
