How Long Do Most Little Cigars Typically Last For?

Remington Good Times Cigars

When we talk about cigars, most of us envision large, fat varieties that evoke images of our favorite Hollywood actors, politicians and sports heroes.  But, as we know, the cigar industry offers a diverse array of cigar types in order to cater to a wide range of consumer demands.  One type of cigar that’s just starting to become trendy once again is the little cigar.

We know that as a little cigar smoker, you want to get the most satisfaction out of these smokes as possible, which is why we’re here to break things down for you in a way that’s easy to understand.

What is a Little Cigar?

Little cigars are often confused with small cigars, but these are two different products entirely when it comes down to it.  Little cigars are most commonly compared to cigarettes, and for good reason.  They have the same shape and size as cigarettes, boast a filter and come in packs of 20.  At first glance, they are practically the same, except that they are covered in brown paper rather than white.

But, looking a little deeper, you’ll realize that little cigars are, in fact, very different from cigarettes.  For one thing, the brown paper actually contains tobacco leaf, which adds to the flavor.  Additionally, they contain cigar tobacco, which is not the same as cigarette tobacco.  To start, it’s fermented.  And, even more importantly, it doesn’t contain the same toxic ingredients found in cigarette tobacco.

Lastly, little cigars are cheaper.  This is because they are not taxed in the same way that cigarettes are.  This makes them highly appealing to both cigar enthusiasts and cigarette smokers.

Length of Time to Use Them In

When we talk about how long they last, we are actually speaking about two separate things: how long each one takes to smoke, and how long you can store a pack of little cigars before they’re no longer considered good.

First, let’s answer the former question.  Many people who are new to little cigars are surprised to discover that they take longer to smoke than traditional cigarettes.  This has to do with the fact that the pulls are typically smaller with this type of tobacco, and the tobacco doesn’t burn as quickly because it isn’t treated with the chemicals found in cigarette tobacco.

Also, when it comes to how long you can store them, we recommend keeping packs of little cigars for no longer than one month.

Sometimes a “Little” Can Go a Long Cigar Way

Little cigars have many advantages over both cigarettes and larger cigars, which has a lot to do with why they’re coming back into fashion.  If you want to get the most out of little cigars, it’s important to know how long they last.  And, remember, BnB Tobacco offers a wide variety of sensational little cigars from top brands in the industry.
