H. Upmann Legacy Toro, A Review by Ken York

Cigar Reviews

I once had the rare opportunity to tour the Tabacalera de Garcia cigar factory in the Dominican Republic.  The factory is one of the largest handmade cigar factories in the world, if not the largest. At the end of the day I left with some of José Seijas’ exquisite personal blends and a box of H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon cigars. I found the Vintage Cameroons a great cigar on the medium side. Drew Estate Nirvana Torpedo – A Review By Ken York

Cigar Reviews

Drew Estate Nirvana Torpedo, $11.99 a stick The Drew Estate Nirvana Torpedo is a great cigar. It was created by Drew Estate for Royal Gold and released in 2014. Why bring so many tobaccos together into one cigar? To create...

Since he was still deployed over there I felt it would be wrong to give the cigars away, so I smoked them.  For the 40 years prior to this I had suffered with hellacious allergies. If it was green (other than money) I would go into a sneezing fit beyond compare.  I tried pills, shots,...

Swisher Sweet Little Cigars Prove You Don’t Have To Be Big To Be A Winner

Cigar Reviews

Back in 1861, when David Swisher was driving his wagon team around the Midwest hauling along his mobile convenience store, accepting a small cigar company in settlement of a bad debt probably seemed no big deal. Little did he know that one day a future King Of England would be smoking his Swisher cigars and that the company would grow to become one of the world’s biggest producers of cigars. The Spirit Of Enterprise That “get up and go” factor that had David loading his wagons to take the luxuries and essentials from the East out to the folks in...
