Cigar Reviews Jared York Punch Rare Corojo El Doble Single
Punch Rare Corojo El Doble Single Review by Jared York I have smoked the Rare Corojo, on and off for the past 9 years. So when I have been asked to review this smoke I have to smile! So why the on and off relationship with this medium-to full well constructed delight? Truth is I never buy enough of them, no matter how many I pick up I seem to smoke them within a few short months due to the fact that I make them my every day smoke. If you enjoy a smoke with that much flavor it’s hard...
GAR Opium STK Review – Overall Score 78 out of 100
Cigar Reviews GAR Opium STK GAR Opium STK Review
I was looking forward to this cigar. It’s a limited edition cigar from George Rico and Gran Habano under the STK series. Only a thousand boxes made. For whatever reason, it just didn’t do much at all for me, although I enjoyed the second half much more than the first. I’m not the guy who believes the stronger the better cigar. I didn’t taste the complexity that I was looking for. Construction – 12 out of 15 Solidly rolled, cuts nicely, no tobacco flecks, some raised veins. Habano/Corojo hybrid wrapper atop a mix of Nicaraguan binder tobaccos and an unknown...
GAR Opium Review By Jared York
GAR Opium I’m back again my soon to be loyal readers. My first blog went over well with the men upstairs, so I get to keep on smoking. So the smoke that I will be ranting about today is the Opium created by George A. Rico. First look is very nice, it has a deep reddish brown color that is very appealing to the eye and has an almost old school Cuban feel. There are one or two larger veins running through the cigar. Which just means that the cigar is not truly perfect but damn close. It snipped perfectly...
Diamond Crown 7 Maduro Review by Jared York
I wish to start by telling all my soon to be loyal readers that I am not a blogger in the typical sense. I never post on the internet and I don’t have a Facebook page, what I am is a bartender who loves to ride Harleys and smoke cigars. The reason that I have decided to break my self-imposed vow of internet silence is to tell the world about the great moments that can be experienced by smoking cigars. The guys at BnB Tobacco have given me this chance! So the first cigar that I got to smoke as...
Diamond Crown No. 7 Maduro Review – Ken York
The Diamond Crown No. 7 Maduro is a great cigar that would go well while relaxing with friends. It is not harsh or over-bearing. The maduro wrapper conjured images of the Caribbean, Calypso bands, and that really tall guy who played Baron Samedi, the witch doctor, in the 007 movie ‘Live and Let Die.’ As a matter of fact I usually use cigar smoking as a time to reflect or visit with friends, but I could definitely watch that movie again while enjoying this cigar and Kraken on the rocks. Life is short. If you think avoiding a good cigar...
